Our Story
When I moved in with my husband, I discovered his love for sweet treats, inspiring me to constantly find or make something sweet for him. Being a chocolate lover myself, I enjoyed the challenge. One day, while my husband was away in Amsterdam, I started searching online for a sweet treat for myself. The thought of his location reminded me of Belgium, the home of waffles, prompting me to search for a waffle recipe to try at home.
As I browsed through Instagram, I stumbled upon waffle sticks, a treat I had never come across before. Instantly, I envisioned how perfect they would be for kids' parties. This sparked the idea of supplying them at such events. Over weeks of trial and error, I perfected a waffle recipe, balancing sweetness and savouriness.
I started by making waffles for family, using their feedback to improve. This led to the concept of 'The Waffle Workshop,' where children could mix, bake, and design their waffles. I ran a successful giveaway and received positive feedback, leading to my first booking for a kids' party.
Since then, I've been preparing to host my first official workshop in March 2024. I'm excited to expand my business and share the joy of waffle making with more clients!
